Passing CTET does not mean becoming a teacher in a government school. It means that you have crossed a very first step to become a teacher. After passing CTET, you become eligible to fill KVS, NVS, DSSSB etc. Forms.
After clearing CTET you can apply for the post of teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS). You can also apply for the post of teacher in private schools.
The validity of CTET is now valid for lifetime, so if you have passed CTET in 2011 or after then your CTET certificate that validity will now be for LIfetime. So now you can start your preparation to become a teacher in government schools like KVS, NVS etc. Their forms come every year.
